In 2019-2020, liberal arts general studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,337 and had an average of $17,430 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 79,412 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,155 and $16,203 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Liberal Arts” ranking looked at 118 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in liberal arts general studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great liberal arts general studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
