Across the New England region, there were 19 data science graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 17 data science graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,403 and $25,944 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent data science programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Vermont. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Data Science for a Bachelor’s. Burlington, Vermont is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s data science degrees to 10 students in 2020-2021.

UVM also took the #1 spot in our “Best Data Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Of the 13,292 students enrolled at UVM, 218 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 142 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,767. To help with additional expenses, 19 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
