The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Located in the medium-sized city of Wilmington, UNCW is a public college with a fairly large student population. UNCW also took the #5 spot in our Best Colleges for International Studies in the Southeast Region rankings.

The student loan default rate at UNCW is lower than is typical, just 1.6% of students default in three years. Approximately 8,583 students take at least one class online at UNCW. About 4,896 of the students at UNCW are attending part time.
