You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Maine. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Forestry for a Bachelor’s list. University of Maine is a fairly large school located in Orono, Maine that handed out 22 bachelors’s forestry degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our new england region bachelor’s degree vets studying forestry list, UMaine has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Forestry Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 21 of the 11,741 students enrolled at University of Maine were GI Bill® students, of which 17 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,419. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Vermont. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Forestry for a Bachelor’s list. University of Vermont is located in Burlington, Vermont and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 11 bachelors’s forestry degrees to qualified students.

In addition to being on our new england region bachelor’s degree vets studying forestry list, UVM has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Forestry Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.Of the 13,292 students enrolled at UVM, 218 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 142 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,767. In addition to receiving other benefits, 19 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
