Tarleton State University tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Southwest Region that are best for non-traditional wildlife management students. Tarleton is a large public school located in the remote town of Stephenville. Tarleton not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Wildlife Management in the Southwest Region list.
About 2.3% of Tarleton students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. 6,360 of Tarleton students are exclusively distance learners. About 4,832 of the students at Tarleton are attending part time.
Stephen F Austin State University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. SFASU is a fairly large public school located in the remote town of Nacogdoches. SFASU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Wildlife Management in the Southwest Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 2.1%. Approximately 6,979 students take at least one class online at SFASU. 3,007 students are part time.
New Mexico State University - Main Campus landed the #3 spot in our 2021 best wildlife management schools for non-traditional students. Located in the suburb of Las Cruces, NMSU Main Campus is a public college with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at NMSU Main Campus, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Wildlife Management in the Southwest Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 3.9%. There are approximately 7,734 students at NMSU Main Campus that take at least one class online. About 3,478 of the students at NMSU Main Campus are attending part time.
