Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 2,191 culinary arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,561 and $16,901 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 126 culinary arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,457 and $25,851 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Culinary Arts for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 4 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in culinary arts. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Culinary Institute of America. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Culinary Arts for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Hyde Park, New York, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 69 degrees to qualified bachelors’s culinary arts students in 2020-2021.

The Culinary Institute of America also made our “Best Culinary Arts Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #1.Among the 3,231 students enrolled at Culinary Institute of America, 51 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 34 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $13,102. On top of their other funding sources, 26 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Culinary Institute of America offers credit for military training for eligible students.

It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Culinary Arts for a Bachelor’s list. Paul Smiths College of Arts and Science is a private not-for-profit institution located in Paul Smiths, New York. The school has a small population, and it awarded 12 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Paul Smith’s College, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Culinary Arts Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking.Among the 681 students enrolled at Paul Smith’s College, 45 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
