Located in the city of Elgin, Judson is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population. Judson did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Human Services in the Great Lakes Region list.

Northern Illinois University comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Dekalb, NIU is a public college with a large student population.
