Colorado State is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Fort Collins. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Colorado State has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.

University of Wyoming landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best social work schools for non-traditional students. Located in the town of Laramie, UW is a public college with a fairly large student population. UW also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Rocky Mountains Region rankings.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.9%. Approximately 5,894 students take at least one class online at UW. There are roughly 2,493 part time students in attendance at UW.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Metropolitan State University of Denver. Located in the city of Denver, MSU Denver is a public college with a fairly large student population. MSU Denver also made our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Rocky Mountains Region list, coming in at #5.

Boise State University earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. Boise State is a fairly large public school located in the city of Boise.
