Top 4 Best Sacred Music Colleges for Veterans in the Southwest Region
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Oral Roberts University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Sacred Music. ORU is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It awarded 6 ’s sacred music degrees in 2020-2021.
ORU also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 135 of the 4,317 students enrolled at ORU were GI Bill® students, of which 76 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,157. To help with additional expenses, 4 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Dallas, Texas is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s sacred music degrees to 9 students in 2020-2021.
DBU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Among the 4,247 students enrolled at DBU, 200 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 150 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $14,924. To help with additional expenses, 39 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Sacred Music that were part of this year’s ranking, Baylor University landed the #3 spot on the list. Baylor University is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Waco, Texas. It awarded 8 ’s sacred music degrees in 2020-2021.
Baylor also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 876 of the 19,297 students enrolled at Baylor were GI Bill® students, of which 593 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $17,744. On top of their other funding sources, 263 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 91%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year. The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. Southlake, Texas is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s sacred music degrees to 7 students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at TKU, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 44 of the 666 students enrolled at TKU were GI Bill® students, of which 33 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,516. During this same period, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1 is a sign that students will have more opportunities to engage with their professors one-on-one.
