Located in the small city of Grand Forks, UND is a public school with a large student population. UND did well in our major quality rankings, too. The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Kansas State University. Located in the city of Manhattan, K -State is a public school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at K -State, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Air Transportation in the Plains States Region ranking.
