A large number of veterans attending a college means the college and faculty are more used to supporting and accommodating the needs of those with prior military experience. The VA reports that there are 14 GI Bill® students at Florida College. With a total enrollment of 589, approximately 2.4% of the students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.
