In 2020-2021, 73,172 accounting students received their degree, making the major the 7th most popular in the country.

Across the New England region, there were 5,244 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Accounting” ranking looked at 70 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in accounting. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent accounting programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the accounting program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
