Best Information Technology Schools for Non-Traditional Students
Michigan Technological University tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Great Lakes Region that are best for non-traditional information technology students. Michigan Tech is a moderately-sized public school located in the remote town of Houghton. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Michigan Tech, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Information Technology in the Great Lakes Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.9%. There are approximately 522 students at Michigan Tech that take at least one class online. There are roughly 724 part time students in attendance at Michigan Tech.
Ferris State University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Ferris is a fairly large public school located in the distant town of Big Rapids. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Ferris has also earned the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Information Technology in the Great Lakes Region ranking.
