American Public University System has taken the #1 spot in this year's information technology ranking for non-traditional students. American Military University is a very large private for-profit school located in the town of Charles Town. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, American Military University has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Information Technology in the Southeast Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 2.4%. There are approximately 48,298 students at American Military University and they are all exclusively distance learners. About 45,236 of the students at American Military University are attending part time.
ECPI University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. ECPI University is a large private for-profit school located in the large city of Virginia Beach. ECPI University also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Information Technology in the Southeast Region rankings.
The student loan default rate at ECPI University is lower than is typical, just 3.4% of students default in three years. 3,327 of ECPI University students are exclusively distance learners. 117 of ECPI University students are attending part time.
