With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in New York for Instructional Media for a Master’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 8,695 people earned their degree in instructional media design, making the major the 98th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, instructional media design graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,158 and had an average of $29,016 in loans still to pay off.
Across New York, there were 414 instructional media design graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,947 and $0 respectively.

Syracuse is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Syracuse, New York. It awarded 29 masters’s instructional media degrees in 2020-2021.
Syracuse did well in our major quality rankings, too. As a testament to the quality of education offered at LIU Post, the school also landed the #8 spot in our “Best Instructional Media Design Master’s Degree Schools in New York” ranking.Among the 15,066 students enrolled at LIU Post, 53 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
