Missouri Baptist University has taken the #1 spot in this year's education ranking for non-traditional students. MBU is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Saint Louis. MBU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #4 on our Best Colleges for Education in Missouri list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.2%. There are approximately 1,140 students at MBU that take at least one class online. There are roughly 3,516 part time students in attendance at MBU.

University of Central Missouri earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the distant town of Warrensburg, UCM is a public school with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, UCM has also earned the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in Missouri ranking.
About 1.4% of UCM students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 4,050 students take at least one class online at UCM. 3,727 of UCM students are attending part time.

Northwest Missouri State University earned the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings. Northwest is a medium-sized public school located in the town of Maryville. Northwest also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Education in Missouri rankings.
The student loan default rate at Northwest is lower than is typical, just 1.6% of students default in three years. 2,297 students at Northwest are exclusively online. There are roughly 2,480 part time students in attendance at Northwest.

Our rankings recognize University of Missouri - Columbia as the #4 school in this year's rankings. Mizzou is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Columbia. Mizzou also made our Best Colleges for Education in Missouri list, coming in at #1.

Evangel University earned the #5 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Springfield, Evangel is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Evangel, the school also landed the #7 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in Missouri ranking.
The student loan default rate at Evangel is lower than is typical, just 1.4% of students default in three years. 349 students at Evangel are exclusively online. There are roughly 484 part time students in attendance at Evangel.
