Out of the 2 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Engineering for a Doctorate that were part of this year’s ranking, Brown University landed the #1 spot on the list. Brown University is a fairly large school located in Providence, Rhode Island that handed out 16 doctorate’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

Brown also made our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list, coming in at #1.Among the 9,948 students enrolled at Brown University, 98 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 19 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $20,111. During this same period, 40 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
