General Engineering is the 79th most popular major in the country with 11,796 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $68,873 and had an average of $20,557 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 2,586 general engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $62,738 and $21,037 respectively.
