Missouri University of Science and Technology has taken the #1 spot in this year's engineering ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the remote town of Rolla, Missouri University of Science and Technology is a public school with a medium-sized student population. Missouri University of Science and Technology also took the #1 spot in our Best Colleges for Engineering in Missouri rankings.
About 0.8% of Missouri University of Science and Technology students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Missouri - Columbia. Located in the city of Columbia, Mizzou is a public school with a very large student population. Saint Louis University landed the #3 spot in our 2021 best engineering schools for non-traditional students. SLU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Saint Louis. SLU also made our Best Colleges for Engineering in Missouri list, coming in at #4.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.9%. There are approximately 2,186 students at SLU that take at least one class online. 2,720 of SLU students are attending part time.

University of Missouri - Kansas City comes in at #4 in this year's ranking. UMKC is a large public school located in the large city of Kansas City. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, UMKC has also earned the #5 rank in our Best Colleges for Engineering in Missouri ranking.

The #5 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Missouri - St Louis. Located in the suburb of Saint Louis, UMSL is a public college with a fairly large student population. UMSL not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #6 on our Best Colleges for Engineering in Missouri list.
