Students have lots of options to chooose from today when trying to decide which college to attend. College Factual has developed its “Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on Writing Major” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 12,529 people earned their degree in writing studies, making the major the 81st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, writing studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $32,208 and had an average of $24,626 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 240 writing studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.
For this year’s “Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on Writing Major” ranking, we looked at 64 colleges that offer a degree in writing studies. That schools that top this list have a program in writing studies in which the largest percentage of students at the school are enrolled.
