For this year's Highest Paid Ethnic Studies Graduates ranking, we looked at 49 colleges that offer a bachelor's in ethnic studies.

In this ranking, we use early career salaries - salaries 10 years from when a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.

After graduation, ethnic studies majors from schools in the United States earn an average salary of $27,194 per year. That's not so great, since it is 32% less than the national average salary of a typical bachelor's degree holder. However, graduates from the schools in this list may make more.

Our rankings recognize University of California - Berkeley as the #1 school in this year's rankings. UC Berkeley is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Berkeley. Upon graduating with a bachelor's degree, ethnic studies majors make an average salary of $41,600.

After completing their bachelor's degree, ethnic studies graduates from UC Berkeley carry an average student debtload of $17,331. For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $175.
