In 2020-2021, 40,596 people earned their degree in public health, making the major the 26th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, public health graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,158 and had an average of $27,396 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 5,221 public health graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,919 and $29,308 respectively.
