The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.2%. Approximately 22,899 students take at least one class online at USF Tampa. About 13,938 of the students at USF Tampa are attending part time.

University of Florida comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. UF is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville. UF did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Public Health in the Southeast Region list.

About 0.9% of UF students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 22,865 students take at least one class online at UF. There are roughly 11,205 part time students in attendance at UF.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to George Mason University. Located in the large suburb of Fairfax, GMU is a public college with a fairly large student population. GMU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #5 on our Best Colleges for Public Health in the Southeast Region list.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.8%. Approximately 21,490 students take at least one class online at GMU. There are roughly 12,712 part time students in attendance at GMU.

University of South Carolina - Columbia earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the medium-sized city of Columbia, UofSC is a public college with a fairly large student population. UofSC not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #3 on our Best Colleges for Public Health in the Southeast Region list.

About 1.6% of UofSC students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 16,608 students take at least one class online at UofSC. 3,896 students are part time.

East Carolina University comes in at #5 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Greenville, ECU is a public college with a very large student population. The student loan default rate at ECU is lower than is typical, just 1.7% of students default in three years. There are approximately 12,522 students at ECU that take at least one class online. There are roughly 7,199 part time students in attendance at ECU.

University of Georgia landed the #6 spot in our 2021 best public health schools for non-traditional students. Located in the midsize city of Athens, UGA is a public college with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UGA, the school also landed the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for Public Health in the Southeast Region ranking.

The student loan default rate at UGA is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 6,742 students take at least one class online at UGA. About 4,437 of the students at UGA are attending part time.
