In 2020-2021, 61,055 people earned their degree in legal professions, making the major the 16th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, legal professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,649 and had an average of $28,699 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 9,805 legal professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $59,936 and $19,643 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Legal Professions for a Master’s” ranking, we looked at 20 colleges that offer a degree in legal professions. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent legal professions programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
