You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Southern Methodist University. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Applied Math for a Master’s list. Southern Methodist University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Dallas, Texas. It awarded 85 masters’s applied math degrees in 2020-2021.

SMU also took the #1 spot in our “Best Applied Mathematics Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 327 of the 12,373 students enrolled at SMU were GI Bill® students, of which 215 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,612. On top of their other funding sources, 103 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Oklahoma State University - Main Campus is a large school located in Stillwater, Oklahoma that handed out 9 masters’s applied math degrees in 2020-2021.
