In 2020-2021, 30,202 people earned their degree in mathematics, making the major the 35th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, mathematics graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $45,168 and had an average of $21,863 in loans still to pay off.

Top 5 Best Mathematics Colleges for Veterans in Oregon
Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for Math that were part of this year’s ranking, Portland State University landed the #1 spot on the list. Portland State University is a public institution located in Portland, Oregon. The school has a large population, and it awarded 86 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

University of Portland is located in Portland, Oregon and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 11 ’s math degrees to qualified students.
University of Portland also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Among the 3,999 students enrolled at University of Portland, 107 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
