You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend George Mason University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Biological Science for a Doctorate list. GMU is a public institution located in Fairfax, Virginia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 7 doctorate’s degrees in 2020-2021.

GMU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Biological & Physical Science Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Among the 38,541 students enrolled at GMU, 2,334 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,583 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,710. University of South Alabama is a fairly large school located in Mobile, Alabama that handed out 3 doctorate’s biological science degrees in 2020-2021.

USA also took the #2 spot in our “Best Biological & Physical Science Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Of the 14,224 students enrolled at University of South Alabama, 868 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
