University of Iowa has taken the #1 spot in this year's international studies ranking for non-traditional students. Iowa is a very large public school located in the small city of Iowa City. Iowa not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #3 on our Best Colleges for International Studies in the Plains States Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.2%. Approximately 12,975 students take at least one class online at Iowa. 5,055 of Iowa students are attending part time.
The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Nebraska at Omaha. Located in the large city of Omaha, UNOMAHA is a public college with a large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, UNOMAHA has also earned the #7 rank in our Best Colleges for International Studies in the Plains States Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.3%. There are approximately 8,191 students at UNOMAHA that take at least one class online. 4,328 students are part time.
University of Nebraska - Lincoln earned the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings. UNL is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Lincoln. UNL not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #4 on our Best Colleges for International Studies in the Plains States Region list.
The student loan default rate at UNL is lower than is typical, just 0.5% of students default in three years. There are approximately 13,905 students at UNL that take at least one class online. 3,376 students are part time.
University of Kansas landed the #4 spot in our 2021 best international studies schools for non-traditional students. KU is a fairly large public school located in the city of Lawrence. KU also took the #5 spot in our Best Colleges for International Studies in the Plains States Region rankings.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.2%. There are approximately 11,364 students at KU that take at least one class online. There are roughly 4,657 part time students in attendance at KU.
