Across the New England region, there were 206 mathematics and computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 75 mathematics and computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,403 and $25,944 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Math & CompSci for a Bachelor’s list. This fairly large school is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and it awarded 32 bachelors’s math and compsci degrees in 2020-2021.

MIT not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Mathematics & Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list.Among the 11,254 students enrolled at MIT, 129 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 38 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $17,024. To help with additional expenses, 32 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. MIT offers credit for military training for eligible students.

The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Math & CompSci for a Bachelor’s. Located in Worcester, Massachusetts, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school handed out 6 degrees to qualified bachelors’s math and compsci students in 2020-2021.

WPI also made our “Best Mathematics & Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list, coming in at #2.Our most recent data shows that 77 of the 6,920 students enrolled at Worcester Polytechnic Institute were GI Bill® students, of which 47 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $15,341. On top of their other funding sources, 7 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
