You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend San Diego State University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Math & CompSci for a Doctorate list. This large school is located in San Diego, California, and it awarded 6 doctorate’s math and compsci degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at SDSU, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Mathematics & Computer Science Doctor’s Degree Schools” ranking.According to our most recent data, SDSU supports 36,334 students, and 1,433 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 853 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a private not-for-profit institution located in Worcester, Massachusetts. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 7 doctorate’s degrees in 2020-2021.

WPI not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Mathematics & Computer Science Doctor’s Degree Schools” list.According to our most recent data, WPI supports 6,920 students, and 77 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 47 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
