Mathematics & Computer Science is the 221st most popular major in the country with 1,302 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, mathematics and computer science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $80,867 and had an average of $19,874 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 540 mathematics and computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $90,327 and $21,650 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 524 mathematics and computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,720 and $23,024 respectively.

In 2020-2021, this school awarded 216 bachelors’s math and compsci degrees to qualified students.

UCSD also made our “Best Mathematics & Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” list, coming in at #3.Among the 39,576 students enrolled at UCSD, 112 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
