Out of the 3 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Science, Tech & Society for a Doctorate that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #1 spot on the list. Tempe, Arizona is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out doctorate’s science, tech and society degrees to 5 students in 2020-2021.

George Mason University is located in Fairfax, Virginia and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 9 doctorate’s science, tech and society degrees to qualified students.
GMU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Science, Technology & Society Doctor’s Degree Schools” list.According to our most recent data, George Mason University supports 38,541 students, and 2,334 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,583 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in Troy, New York. It awarded 4 doctorate’s science, tech and society degrees in 2020-2021.
