The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Sustainability for a Master’s. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, this large public school handed out 22 degrees to qualified masters’s sustainability students in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southwest region master’s degree vets studying sustainability list, University of Oklahoma has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Sustainability Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, University of Oklahoma Norman Campus supports 27,772 students, and 12 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 10 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $3,720. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Oklahoma Norman Campus offers credit for military training for eligible students.

This large school is located in Tucson, Arizona, and it awarded 9 masters’s sustainability degrees in 2020-2021.

Southern Methodist University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Dallas, Texas. It awarded 7 masters’s sustainability degrees in 2020-2021.

SMU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Sustainability Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.According to our most recent data, SMU supports 12,373 students, and 327 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 215 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,612. On top of their other funding sources, 103 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

It is also #5 on our “Best Sustainability Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Of the 37,812 students enrolled at Texas State, 2,559 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Sustainability for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Northern Arizona University landed the #5 spot on the list. NAU is a large public school situated in Flagstaff, Arizona. It awarded 14 masters’s sustainability degrees in 2020-2021.

NAU also took the #4 spot in our “Best Sustainability Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,055 of the 29,566 students enrolled at NAU were GI Bill® students, of which 622 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
