UNC Chapel Hill is a very large public school located in the city of Chapel Hill. UNC Chapel Hill did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Anthropology in the Southeast Region list.

About 0.9% of UNC Chapel Hill students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 6,990 students take at least one class online at UNC Chapel Hill. About 5,151 of the students at UNC Chapel Hill are attending part time.

University of Virginia - Main Campus earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the suburb of Charlottesville, University of Virginia is a public school with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at University of Virginia, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Anthropology in the Southeast Region ranking.
