American Public University System has taken the #1 spot in this year's social sciences ranking for non-traditional students. American Military University is a very large private for-profit school located in the town of Charles Town. As a testament to the quality of education offered at American Military University, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Sciences in West Virginia ranking.

West Virginia University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. WVU is a fairly large public school located in the city of Morgantown.
