Marketing is the 17th most popular major in the country with 52,916 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,991 and had an average of $25,213 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 6,976 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,271 and $26,185 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality marketing programs as well as strong veteran support.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Pennsylvania. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Marketing for a Doctorate list. University of Pennsylvania is a private not-for-profit institution located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school has a large population, and it awarded 4 doctorate’s degrees in 2020-2021.

UPenn did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Marketing Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 324 of the 26,552 students enrolled at UPenn were GI Bill® students, of which 131 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
