Specialized Sales, Merchandising & Marketing is the 138th most popular major in the country with 5,191 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, specialized sales, merchandising and marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $33,431 and had an average of $30,391 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Great Lakes region, there were 640 specialized sales, merchandising and marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,787 and $29,218 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 526 specialized sales, merchandising and marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Specialized Marketing for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 14 colleges that offered a degree in specialized sales, merchandising and marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great specialized sales, merchandising and marketing programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
