This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general information science programs as well as strong veteran support.

In 2020-2021, this school awarded 132 masters’s information science degrees to qualified students.
UT Austin did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best General Information Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 7 of the 50,476 students enrolled at UT Austin were GI Bill® students, of which 1 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
