In 2020-2021, 84,492 people earned their degree in allied health and medical assisting services, making the major the 48th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, allied health and medical assisting services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,905 and had an average of $16,497 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 8,135 allied health and medical assisting services graduates with average earnings and debt of $30,438 and $15,573 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools that graduate the most students in allied health and medical assisting services.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Eastwick College - Ramsey. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Well Attended Medical Assisting Major in the Middle Atlantic Region list. This small school is located in Ramsey, New Jersey, and it awarded 142 ’s medical assisting degrees in 2020-2021.
