In 2020-2021, 82,308 people earned their degree in allied health professions, making the major the 18th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, allied health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $53,436 and had an average of $20,148 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 11,269 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,894 and $21,470 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Allied Health” ranking analyzed 101 colleges that offered a degree in allied health professions. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent allied health professions programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the allied health professions program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
