This year’s “Best Value Health and Wellness Schools in the New England Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 10 colleges that offered a degree in general health and wellness. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general health and wellness programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the general health and wellness program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Top 10 Best Value Colleges for General Health & Wellness (Income $0-$30k) in the New England Region
Out of the 10 schools in the Best Value Health and Wellness Schools in the New England Region For Those Making $0-$30k that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Vermont landed the #1 spot on the list. UVM is a fairly large public school situated in Burlington, Vermont. It awarded 56 ’s health and wellness degrees in 2020-2021.
UVM also made our “Best General Health & Wellness Schools in the New England Region” list, coming in at #1. The estimated yearly cost for UVM is $12,022 for new england region health and wellness students whose families make $0-$30k.
With a freshman retention rate of 85%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students.
