Columbia University in the City of New York tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that are best for non-traditional history students. Columbia is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of New York. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Columbia, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for History in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.9%. Approximately 6,172 students take at least one class online at Columbia. About 4,854 of the students at Columbia are attending part time.
