In 2020-2021, 556,813 liberal arts general studies students received their degree, making the major the 1st most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, liberal arts general studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,337 and had an average of $17,430 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 64,448 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,136 and $16,325 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,059 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,395 and $25,950 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Liberal Arts for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 10 colleges that offered a degree in liberal arts general studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality liberal arts general studies programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the liberal arts general studies program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
