The University of Texas at El Paso did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Mathematical Sciences for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #23. UTEP is a large public school situated in El Paso, Texas. It awarded 38 bachelors’s mathematical sciences degrees in 2020-2021.

UTEP not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #15 on our “Best General Mathematics Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,873 of the 24,879 students enrolled at The University of Texas at El Paso were GI Bill® students, of which 942 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,990. During this same period, 2 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
