In 2020-2021, 9,074 people earned their degree in interdisciplinary studies, making the major the 86th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, interdisciplinary studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $32,077 and had an average of $27,069 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 576 interdisciplinary studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $30,191 and $25,048 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Interdisciplinary Studies” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in interdisciplinary studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality interdisciplinary studies programs as well as strong veteran support.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Interdisciplinary Studies that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Southern California landed the #1 spot on the list. University of Southern California is a large school located in Los Angeles, California that handed out 27 ’s interdisciplinary studies degrees in 2020-2021.

USC also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 46,287 students enrolled at USC, 1,311 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 862 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $20,487. Located in Pullman, Washington, this large public school handed out 2 diplomas to qualified ’s interdisciplinary studies students in 2020-2021.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Eastern Washington University. The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Interdisciplinary Studies. EWU is a fairly large school located in Cheney, Washington that handed out 101 ’s interdisciplinary studies degrees in 2020-2021.

EWU not only placed well in this ranking. Tacoma, Washington is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s interdisciplinary studies degrees to 43 students in 2020-2021.
