University of Maryland - Baltimore County comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Baltimore, UMBC is a public college with a fairly large student population. UMBC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Sociology in Maryland list.
