Top 10 Best Music Schools for Non-Traditional Students
Michigan State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's music ranking for non-traditional students. Michigan State is a very large public school located in the small city of East Lansing. Michigan State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Music in the Great Lakes Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.8%. There are approximately 33,526 students at Michigan State that take at least one class online. 6,517 of Michigan State students are attending part time.

Illinois State University landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best music schools for non-traditional students. Illinois State is a fairly large public school located in the midsize suburb of Normal.
