In 2020-2021, 11,319 people earned their degree in entrepreneurial studies, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 957 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,812 and $26,432 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship for a Master’s” ranking analyzed 7 colleges that offered a degree in entrepreneurial studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality entrepreneurial studies programs as well as strong veteran support.

Located in College Station, Texas, this large public school awarded 20 diplomas to qualified masters’s entrepreneurship students in 2020-2021.

Texas A&M College Station also made our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #1.Among the 70,418 students enrolled at Texas A&M College Station, 5 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Entrepreneurship for a Master’s. Tucson, Arizona is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s entrepreneurship degrees to 18 students in 2020-2021.

University of Arizona not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 2,131 of the 45,601 students enrolled at University of Arizona were GI Bill® students, of which 1,478 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. OSU is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 7 masters’s entrepreneurship degrees to qualified students.

The University of Texas at Dallas is a public institution located in Richardson, Texas. The school has a large population, and it awarded 8 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.

DBU also took the #5 spot in our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Of the 4,247 students enrolled at DBU, 200 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Located in Victoria, Texas, this small public school awarded 17 diplomas to qualified masters’s entrepreneurship students in 2020-2021.

UH Victoria not only placed well in this ranking.
