In 2020-2021, 56,042 people earned their degree in general business/commerce, making the major the 16th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,399 and had an average of $26,389 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 6,263 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,927 and $31,043 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for General Business” ranking looked at 36 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general business/commerce. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general business/commerce programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
