In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 366 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,534 and $23,200 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 225 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,089 and $26,296 respectively.

Out of the 7 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Hospitality for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Denver landed the #1 spot on the list. DU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 33 bachelors’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.

DU also made our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region” list, coming in at #2.According to our most recent data, DU supports 13,856 students, and 571 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 373 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Hospitality for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, this large public school handed out 49 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s hospitality students in 2020-2021.

Colorado State also made our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region” list, coming in at #1.Among the 32,428 students enrolled at Colorado State University - Fort Collins, 1,606 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,183 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,701. In addition to receiving other benefits, 68 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Colorado State University - Fort Collins offers credit for military training for eligible students.

Located in Denver, Colorado, this fairly large public school handed out 68 degrees to qualified bachelors’s hospitality students in 2020-2021.

MSU Denver did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,222 of the 19,086 students enrolled at Metropolitan State University of Denver were GI Bill® students, of which 867 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Utah Valley University is a large public school situated in Orem, Utah. It awarded 41 bachelors’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.

UVU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region” list.Of the 40,936 students enrolled at UVU, 813 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 379 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,550. Lewiston, Idaho is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s hospitality degrees to 6 students in 2020-2021.
